Well, as you heard, last night was a really funny night. Your wonderful son and I have exchanged our identities from time to time on this trip and we did it again last night as the team was introduced. Imagine my horror as a sweet young girl came up to me after the presentation and shyly asked me if I could sign 3, yes 3, copies of BLUE LIKE JAZZ which she clutched to her chest. She told me it was her favorite book and she had just finished it last night. I didn't miss a beat and happily signed all three and she was overjoyed. However, she later realized that she had been duped by her friends and was HORRIFIED. But all ended well as the "real" Don signed and smiled and was the perfect "famous guy on the bike ride". What a jewel you have for a son !!!T

I think you must be a pretty awesome lady. You raised a great guy. I was really moved by some of the stories he told about your generosity, faith, and compassion. I've been praying for him and the whole team on this journey. You must be very proud of him.
