A couple days ago...i don't remember the town or the date (concussion), on HWY 11, I hit a dog. Favor - this dog will "never" run out in front of a cyclist again...no need to thank me. (I don't know what happened to the dog)... I experienced something amazing today... today, wrecked me. We went to an inner city mission in Longview, TX today for lunch. Last year this group of people gave $2,000 to Blood Water...now they have raised over $6,000...they have an opportunity to give donations everyday at lunch. When I saw people who don't have much come and give the change they have...I was humbled and in awe of the pure beauty around me. I talked with the team a bit about purpose this week. I said we are each here for a purpose and that our purpose may end up being totally different than we anticipated coming into the tour. I talked about how we each have something unique that only we can offer to one another/ the churches/ random people we meet/ Africa. We made it into San Diego today - 66 miles. It's the longest ride I have ever done and am feeling well...a bit tired :) but well. Funny story though: I was going up the last LARGE hill of the day and was going rather slow...so slow in fact that i just fell over :) It was hilarious! I wish you all could have seen it.
