The time: 9:28pm. The place: i don't remember,Oh ya LongView. I am currently sitting on a rather comfortable bed alone in my very own room in my new host families house. I just got out of a very long and hot bath and am feeling sleeping after going all the way down stairs to stick my spandex in the wash. Tough life isnt it?
The truely amazing thing about this trip is not us bikers but the communities that feed us, clean us and give us every resource they have. EVERY RESOURCE even the food mission whose participants donate $ .25 to give a clean glass of water to an Africa even if they dont always have a roof over their heads. Thats truely amazing. I am aken aback by everyone who has rossed the ridewell path. We may not always say much because we either shoveling food in ours mouths, to tired to talk or have fallen asleep but we are always thankful, You are truely amasing, thank you. Thank you for a bath, clean towels, air mattresses, food, clean clothes, KINDNESS, a hug when you miss your mom, prayers, goodybags!, excellent conversation, and your hospitality. THis trip is successful because of you, not us!! Thank you from the little old lady on the trip whose belly is full, skin is clean and whose bed is ready for her rest her head on. Thank you.

sorry Lyzz, for being a week behind to comment on your blog!! Your enthusiasm, spunk, and keen observations are so evident in your post- You are amazing, and you see so clearly how amazing God's people can be. I am so glad you are having the experience of a life time. We missed you at Justin and Mary's shower, but I could hear your giggles and laughter still, so I just smiled at my thoughts of you.
Keep on going, keep changing the world, one person at a time, and I will look forward to seeing you ride into Baltimore.
go ride:well

My Dearest Lyzz, how many ways can I say, I love what you have become, and the lives you are touching...We are all like ripples in the water, one touch leads to many, many rings, forever widening outward. Always remember that the lives we touch, and touch us, have ramifications that we can only guess at.
The lord, with grandma, as the back street driver, will continue to guide you and keep you safe...

PS I found you a MSW supervisor..one that works with austistic kids at Baystate Medical!

If you are the little old lady on the tour then what does that make me? You're right it's not about us and we are truly blessed everyday.

Hi Lizz....What a great pleasure it was to have you in our home! You are an amazing young lady that God is using and will continue to use throughout this ride and also your ride of life! I'll continue to keep you and your fellow riders in my prayers. I'll be checking in every once in awhile to see how the ride is progressing. Thanks for your sacrifices to help folks learn more about the basic need of water and the support for the HIV/AIDS crisis in Africa. And as a side note....don't forgot about those 'Texas' waffles!
