A Toast to Texas!

Thank you to everyone in Texas! In Texas we raised over $100,000.00 for fresh water wells, health clinics and sanitation projects in Africa. A special thanks goes out to The Oaks Fellowship in Red Oak and to the whole town of Tyler. Y'all are great people, ya' hear!

Encouragement for the Team (Please Read)

I'm the guy in the office that the team reports to on a daily basis. The last few days have been tough for the team. They've made it to their destination each day, but they have been cycling from sun-up to sun-down in crazy heat and its wearing on them a bit. Right now they are cycling to Quemado, MN f… Continue

Day 1-3 (Good Stuff)

The team is currently on day three of cycling and in good spirits. Tonight they will be at Twenty Nine Palms, CA. Quick update: the support vehicle broke down on day 1 in the mountains (transmission problems) and was held up a day as it was fixed by Ezekiel in Hollywood. Thanks Ezekie… Continue

Hey, Aaron, yep, it's about time I posted a picture, so you can say, "Oh, I remember her now!" Tough to find one that'll work on a thumbnail. As for doing this next year....um...probably not. I can't be on a bike for that long. I dunno - maybe if I train? But, I'd be interested in other trips. Once they're up, I'll take a look at trips for '09. Keep up the great work!

Thanks, Aaron, but the webpage says there is something that same night utof the ride, on the 28th. That's what I'm wondering about. Is it something we buy tickets for or just go to the church on Saturday night at 7? Thanks!

That is incredible to hear. I am a part of a group here in San Diego who are building a non-profit to raise awareness about what has been going on in Burma for the past six decades. We are getting ready to head back on a research trip within the next few weeks in the hopes of strengthening our existing relationships while working closely with the Karen.

What are you looking to do there if/when you make the move?
